Playing against AI bots is the new trend in FPS games. For new players, practicing with bots is a good idea if you want to hone your skills for Valorant boosting. You can play without the stress of a competitive match. Games like Marvel Rivals, CounterStrike, and Battlefield are already offering playing against bots. But does Valorant support it? And how can you play against AI bots in Valorant? The short answer is yes! But it is not as simple as it seems. Let us explore this topic to clear up any confusion you may have.

Does Valorant Offer AI Bots by Default?

Many FPS games like Counter-Strike let you play against bots in a private match. This helps you experiment with different strategies and play without any competitive stress. However, the way Valorant servers work and are set up, no AI Bots are present by default. If you want to warm up by playing against as many bots as possible, it will not happen in Valorant by default. But that is not the end of the world!

The good news is that you can still play against bots in the ‘Open Range’ of the Practice Mode. You have to choose a practice match, and the images, like stationary targets, that come over are AI bots. You can practice to straighten your aim and hone your shooting skills there. The other option is to add bots in the custom game in Valorant.

How to Add Bots in Valorant Custom Games

Let us go through the process of adding bots to a custom game in Valorant. This method may not seem easy initially, but doing what no one else has done is the real fun!

  1. Launch the Valorant game and log in.
  2. Go to the Custom Mode in the Play menu.
  3. You have to select the Standard game mode from Game Settings. Then, enable ‘Allow Cheats’ from the Options in-game settings.
  4. You may choose any map or server and then start the game.
  5. Now, the real trick is to choose Sage as your agent.
  6. The stage is set now for using cheats and creating bots. In the Settings menu, go to the ‘Cheats’ tab and assign a key for Ghost mode (e.g., the ‘G’ key).
  7. You must now press the ‘G’ key to activate ghost mode and then deactivate when you have flown high. This will cause you to fall and die.
  8. Since we have selected Sage as our client, we will use her ability to resurrect from a dead body. Once resurrected, your first AI bot is born!

How to Play vs Bots on Valorant Console

Real players who play Valorant on consoles like PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S can enjoy an optional Bot Training Match. This match is not yet available on the PC version. It is designed for new players who do not want to share their gameplay with non-friendly teammates. Rather, they prefer to start with AI bots and hone their skills. You can play it on Haven in a full Swift Play match. For PC gamers, Riot Games may introduce this feature in a later patch, but we have no confirmed news yet.
